I bought a penguin now a few months ago in the beginning of the winter. My room is in the half basement where the furnace is located and gets very dry when it runs in the winter and this little guy pumps up the enough moisture into the air for me. Great product and very easy to use. Fill up the tank and it will last a good full week.

we ordered the elephant crane humidifier and at first wasn't sure what to expect but when we tried, we were amazed with how quiet it is and how much moisture we see coming out of the spout. this is our third humidifier and the first one that really worked well for us! I highly recommend it. it is just a little pain to clean the water container. It is also so cute that my daughter loves it.

We got the frog first and were so impressed with it, we went to get another one for our other son. Target was out of the frog, so we went with the elephant. Every night for a week, after running for a while, the light would turn red and stop working. We packed it up and returned it to the store, where they said it was the 3rd elephant THAT DAY that was returned. I don't know if I really believe them, but it helped me feel more justified that it wasn't user error. They were still out of the frog, so we got the penguin. This is the best one! It's very effective in producing the mist, so it's great to have the knob that controls the strength of the mist. And a sidenote: the penguin and the frog have switches on the back to turn them on and off; the elephant does not and needs to be unplugged to be turned off. The Crane humidifiers are great products overall and so cute! Just don't get the elephant. :)

I have two of these, the panda and now I just got the frog. I only got the frog one because it was free shipping. I wish I would've just spent the extra money to get the Panda. These animals are not all the same. The frog pumps out a ton of steam and I have found it hard to get it to the right amount. The panda has a switch on the back of it which turns it on and off, the frog doesn't. I like this feature on the panda because you can set the steam amount in the front and use the switch in the back to turn if off. This way the amount of steam can be set the same everytime you turn it on. I use them in my kids' rooms just to keep the air moist it seems to help them sleep better. To be able to go in a just flip a switch knowing the steam control is set where I want it is much better. The frog seem to pump steam diffrent everytime. I wish they made these where you could open the top somehow so you can really wipe the inside of them out. That is my only negative about them. Otherwise Crane has the best I've seen so far

Works great so far. Only one problem, it started making a loud noise, when it was turned on. I drained it and let it dry then wiped off the water level device and it works fine. Occasionally it makes the loud noise when I turn it on, so I will turn it off, pick up the water basin and set it right back down and when I turn it back on the loud noise goes away.
