a missing item August 14, 2008 Joanna V. (NY) I didn't receive a blue little bag like is on the picture. How come you advertise something which doesn't exist?
contains parabens July 9, 2008 J. Katz (Oakland, CA United States) 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
Note that these products contain parabens! Parabens are widely used synthetic preservatives. Parabens can disrupt the hormone (endocrine) system, and were found in the breast cancer tumors of 19 of 20 women studied. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) tested urine from 100 adults and found parabens in nearly all. Infants are especially sensitive to parabens in skin care products.
In the July 2002 issue of the Archives of Toxicology , Dr. S. Oishi of the Department of Toxicology, Tokyo Metropolitan Research Laboratory of Public Health reported that exposure of newborn male mammals to butylparaben "adversely affects the secretion of testosterone and the function of the male reproductive system."
Also, from breastcancerfund.org: "Parabens are absorbed through intact skin and from the gastrointestinal tract and blood. Measurable concentrations of six different parabens have been identified in biopsy samples from breast tumors. The particular parabens were found in relative concentrations that closely parallel their use in the synthesis of cosmetic products.
Parabens have been shown to be weak estrogen mimickers, binding to the cellular estrogen receptor (ER). They also increase the expression of genes that are usually regulated by estradiol and cause human breast tumor cells (MCF-7 cells) to grow and proliferate in vitro. "
Why risk it with these products for your newborn? There are plenty of other similar products that don't contain parabens (and by the way, these products are chalk-full of parabens, with the products containing as many as 4 different paraben derivatives in a single product!)
The best baby bathing products in town March 24, 2008 Anushil Kumar (anushil) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is the best non-allergic baby product in the market. The baby
shampoo and body wash is actually no-tears product I have ever seen. My baby is always crying when the J&J shampoo enters her eyes but never with Mustella. And finally it smells so good !
love it January 11, 2008 R. Webb (Yokosuka, Japan) I really like these products. At first I thought the scent was too perfumey - but 2 things happened to change my mind. 1. The next day, the cheek put the no rinse PhysiObebe on - the baby acne stated to clear up! 2. The way it reacted with my baby's skin made it smell better. I really like the scent now. I love the PhysiObebe - it is a nice quick way to clean my babys face and neck in the morning, before bed and any time she spits up.

This works pretty good it just has a strong smell and some of the directions are like dutch or german. I don't read either.
