Product Description Its the night before St. Patricks Day, and Tim and Maureen are wide awake setting traps to catch a leprechaun! When they wake the next morning to the sound of their dad playing the bagpipes and the smell of their mom cooking green eggs, theyre shocked to find that theyve actually caught a leprechaun. But will they be able to find his pot of gold? Natasha Wings latest title is once again told in verse to the same meter of Clement Moores classic.

the Night Before St Patrick's Day June 15, 2010 D. J. Indy This is a great book for preschoolers. We use it in the classroom curriculum for a fun St. Patrick's day unit, with a surprise visit from a leprechaun. Lots of fun. The author has a variety of books with the same "night before" theme, easy to read and enjoyable for the kiddies.
St Patrick's Day book April 19, 2010 Breckjo (Northern Michigan United States) This is another in the Night Before ... series. This is a nice addition to the series. It follows like the others and the illustrations are great.
St.Patrick's Day book April 1, 2010 J. A. D. (Pittsburg, Pa) My kids love this story. I have to read it over and over around St. Patrick's Day.
my favorite St. Patrick's Day book! March 28, 2010 Krista A. Fong (San Ramon, CA) After buying 3 books for St. Patrick's Day at once, this one was my fave.
Pros: cute pictures, lots of visual detail, hidden leprechauns in pictures which are fun for kids to find, familiar rhythm, uncomplicated language, rhyming words, clear story line, characters and settings, great length of text per page and length of story for younger children, leprechaun traps which lend themselves well to extension activities
Cons: Not really a "con", but the "trick" at the end of the story was difficult for my younger students to understand.
Fun Little Book March 28, 2010 C. Pearce (USA) I bought this book to read to my grandchildren for a "Nana's Leprechaun Camp". Not only did the illustrations and story capture their attention but because I read it before hand, it gave me great ideas on activities to have at my Nana's camp. We set traps and the leprechauns caused all kinds of mischief during the day.
